Does dcm4chee support HL7 v2 integration with a RIS or HIS?
Yes, on Business and Enterprise plans. We configure HL7 v2 ADT receivers and order workflow senders so dcm4chee exchanges worklist items and patient demographics with your RIS or HIS.
What DICOMweb endpoints does managed dcm4chee expose?
We enable WADO-RS, STOW-RS, and QIDO-RS on Business and above. These endpoints let OHIF Viewer and other DICOMweb clients query and retrieve studies directly from the archive.
How does multi-site query routing work on the Enterprise plan?
Enterprise includes multi-site federation: dcm4chee can route C-FIND and C-MOVE queries across multiple archive nodes, letting clinicians query a single entry point for studies stored at different locations.
Can dcm4chee ingest studies from an existing PACS using C-MOVE?
Yes. We plan and execute the migration using C-MOVE from your current PACS. For large archives we stage the transfer in batches to avoid impacting production traffic.
